If a roasted, fully oaked nose is not your thing, then this is not your wine. But if some barrel-busting char, toast and mocha is fine by you, then this youthful, rambunctious wine will do the trick. It's got power and pedigree but the heat of the vintage resulted in a softness that encourages near-term drinking. Best prior to 2009.
