A bit reductive in style, this bottling from vines planted in 1998 begins with wound-up aromas of lemon pith, tangerine peel and a hint of lanolin. There's a woolly note on the sip as well, where dried elderflower, tonic and walnut-extract flavors make for a unique experience. Matt Kettmann
