Cordant 2017 Kessler-Haak Vineyards Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Concentrated aromas of blackberry, cardamom and vanilla cream and prominent oak show on the nose of this single-vineyard expression. Winemaker Tyler Russell definitely explores the riper, richer side of this grape, with thick flavors of roasted cherry and caramel on the palate, yet with enough acid and grip to provide balance.
