Corinne et Pierre Grossot 2018 Vaucoupin Premier Cru (Chablis)

The initial whiff of this wine combines chalk, passion fruit and a milky floral overtone. The palate wraps these notions in fine, ripe lemon zestiness, focusing on midpalate texture rather than fruit. The body is rounded and yeasty, with a lovely, lemony, chalky depth that lends coolness. The finish is all bright, long, soothing lemon. Anne Krebiehl MW
