Corte alla Flora 2015 Riserva (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano)

Aromas of wood shop, eucalyptus and a whiff of rose form the subdued nose. Made with Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, this red has a palate that offers more oak-driven spice, vanilla and candied notes alongside astringent, grainy tannins that clench the finish. It's already evolved and doesn't have the fruit richness to stand up to the oak-driven sensations. Kerin O’Keefe
