This estate wine from Cortes de Cima, created in 1988 by a Dutch-American couple, Hans Kristian and Carrie Jorgensen, is a full and dense blend, brimming with southern warmth. Rich berry fruits give a ripe character, laced with acidity. The still-present tannins from a mix of indigenous and classic grapes aged in French and American barrels do promise to add long life to this wine. Drink from 2017.
