Corvus 2015 Rosé (Red Mountain)

Rosés are an extreme rarity from this blazing hot appellation. This blend of Cabernet Franc (80%) and Mourvèdre is pale peach in color and offers notes of herb, cereal and strawberry. The palate drinks off dry with weighty somewhat ponderous fruit flavors that seem to get bogged down but still provide enjoyment. Sean P. Sullivan
