Plenty of smoked meat, hard spice and pulsating fruit to the nose, which evolves greatly if given time. If there's anything to take issue with, it's that the wine is almost too much of a straight-shooter: It's a touch racy and acidic, with a single beam of bright flavors off of which it doesn't vary.
