Sassy and forward, with ripe aromas and exotic flavors. This wine registers at 16% but it's not fortified, so it comes across more like a sweet but dry wine than, say, Port. Expressive and rich, with cherry cough drop, dark chocolate and raisin flavors. At one moment it's table wine, the next an elixir. And the finish won't quit. Perfect with cheese.
