Coto de Hayas 2017 Centenaria Garnacha (Campo de Borja)

Strange aromas of clove and beach grass are abnormal. On the palate, this Garnacha is sticky but enlivened by wiry acidity. Heavy oak flavors result in nothing but clove and cream, while this is cloying on a resiny palate that tastes of forced oak and clove. Michael Schachner
