Sourced from the Crawford vineyard in Washington's Yakima Valley, this inexpensive Syrah seems a bit stripped. There is some good material here, but a whiff of volatility and a deadness in the mouth robs it of vitality. Light cherry and plum, with a dash of coffee, is what's left.
