Covington 2006 Viognier (Columbia Valley (WA))

The emphasis here is squarely on the fruit, which is fresh and varietal, carrying flavors of apricot, peach and apple. Pleasing aromas support the impression of ripe stone fruit, with moderate alcohol and none of the bitterness that Viognier can show in the finish. Paul Gregutt
