Covington 2014 Ma Belle Olsen Vineyard Red (Yakima Valley)

Grenache makes up three-quarters of this wine, with the balance Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Syrah. The aromas are light, with notes of ripe apple, tobacco, high-toned cherry and raspberry. Elegantly styled fruit flavors follow. There are some good things going on, but they don't all come together, with it all seeming quite ripe. Sean P. Sullivan
