Covington 2018 Cabernet Franc (Columbia Valley (WA))

Editors' Choice

Fermented in clay and aged for 20 months, there's no mistaking the variety, with its notes of flowers, savory herbs, Satsuma orange and cherry. Plump, rich, pleasing flavors follow, with plenty of structure behind them, sailing on the finish. It's delicious and appears to be immortal, drinking well over an extremely long period. One for the ages. Sean P. Sullivan
