Covington 2018 Starr Boushey Vineyard Red (Yakima Valley)

Cellar Selection

The aromas of this blend of Syrah (78%) and Sangiovese (22%) pop, with notes of raspberry, potpourri, white pepper, plum and Satsuma orange peel. A full-bodied palate follows, showing a lot of freshness and depth along with impressive acidity and tannin structure. It needs some additional time in the bottle to settle in but will deliver. Best after 2024. Sean P. Sullivan
