Craggy Range 2013 Aroha Te Muna Pinot Noir (Martinborough)

A barrel selection off Craggy Range's estate vineyard in the Te Muna Road area of Martinborough, this isn't a huge blockbuster style, but one that favors elegance. The aromas and flavors are ripe, oozing with hints of plum, black cherry, cola and licorice, but what makes the wine special are its subtle spice shadings and silky texture. Drink now–2025. Joe Czerwinski
