Crawford Family 2016 Albariño (Santa Ynez Valley)

The nose on this ultimately zesty wine starts off on the richer side, with baked apple, yellow melon, cherimoya and orange peel. On the palate, the acidity is immediate and tremendously persistent, with flavors of apple blossom, pear syrup and tangerine spray riding the chalky texture. Matt Kettmann
