Crawford Family 2018 Rosé (Santa Ynez Valley)

A slightly dark shade of pink, this is a richer expression of rosé based mostly on Grenache with small amounts of Syrah and Mourvèdre, starting with aromas of cherry, strawberry and vanilla. The palate also packs some power, with baked cherry and more baking-spice flavors cut by brisk grapefruit acidity. Matt Kettmann
