Creekside Cellars NV Rosso Red (Colorado)

A strange aroma of multi-grain bread and caraway rides underneath vanilla, black cherry and anise. The palate is stuck on ripe raspberry and cherry flavors, with touches of vanilla and sweet spice and pummeling tannins that lack structure. There is a sour candy tang on the finish, with mildly grippy, sandy tannins and a sprinkle of pepper spice on the end. Fiona Adams
