Crichton Hall 2003 Truchard Vineyard Pinot Noir (Carneros)

This is a fine vineyard and this is a very good Pinot. It's dry and full-bodied, and flamboyant in cherry pie flavors enriched with vanilla and toast from oak. There's a rich inner structure of acidity and tannin. Good now with a nice steak, but should develop well over the next five years.
