Aromas of cured meat, camphor, cherry marinated in spirits, toast and a whiff of smoke lead the nose. The smoky note carries over to the brawny, monolithic palate along with ripe raspberry, dried herb and a hint of saline. Tightly wound tannins leave a bracing finish.
