Medium-gold in color, this wine takes a little time in the glass to open up, but when it does you can't stop smelling it. Delicate aromas of grapefruit, pear, apple, cashew and brine are sewn together on the nose and carry to the palate alongside buttered toast and toffee flavors from barrel influence. The palate is silky, slinking seamlessly along an saline spine of oyster shells, toast and citrus, with a delicate line of acidity. Drink now–2028.
