Culton 2012 Nomad Glenrose Vineyard Red (Paso Robles)

Savory smoked-pork notes meet with blueberry soda, teriyaki and white pepper on the nose of this blend of 49% Syrah, 24% Petite Sirah, 15% Grenache and 12% Mourvèdre. Soy, teriyaki, crushed peppercorns and blackberry jam show on the palate, which is more restrained than exuberant. Matt Kettmann
