Dablon 2016 Pinot Noir (Lake Michigan Shore)

This transparent garnet-colored wine with a watery rim emits aromas of barnyard and plum. Sandy tannins wrap the palate and build towards the finish, with only delicate acidity fighting for balance. Flavors of blueberry, tobacco and oak are joined by cranberry and sour cherry leading to a peppery tannic finish with plumy acidity. Fiona Adams
