Dalton 2017 Estate Oak Aged Grenache (Galilee)

Medium-cherry to the eye, this wine proffers a bouquet of strawberry, pomegranate and dried sage. There is more spice than fruit on the palate, with flavors of clove, anise, freshly ground black pepper, powdered sugar and cranberry. Mellow tannins drop back into a warm baking-spice finish.
