Daniel Gehrs 2001 Harmon Syrah (Santa Ynez Valley)

A medium-weight, good wine, but one whose primary flavors are of the cedar/cigar box/vanilla ilk. Has similar aromas; overall, we wish that fruit played more of a starring role here.
