Daou 2019 Cuvée Lizzy Red (Paso Robles)

Focused aromas of roasted black cherry, maple-smoked meat, roasted coffee and dark caramel make for a very complex nose in this blend of 49% Malbec, 29% Petit Verdot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. It's rich and juicy yet full in feel on the palate, where tight tannins frame black cherry, allspice and espresso bean flavors. Matt Kettmann
