D'Arenberg 2003 The Olive Grove Chardonnay (McLaren Vale)

Hints of vanilla, or whipping cream, dress up clear, pretty aromas of pear, peach and apple. On the palate, it's not a fat wine, nor is it wiry—it's somewhere in the middle, with a dry feel and pear and mineral flavors. Has a flat woodiness on the finish, but overall it's a very nice Chardonnay. 2,000 cases produced.
