This Bordeaux blend is from a notoriously wet and cold South Aussie vintage. The result is a vegetal wine, with notes of cooked green beans, charred meat, and dark raisiny fruit. While the nose appeals, the palate is on the oaky side, with angular, muscular tannins and a rather funky-filled finish.
