D'Arenberg 2018 The Broken Fishplate Sauvignon Blanc (Adelaide Hills)

This is lean Sauvignon Blanc that's wanting for more fleshy, vibrant fruit and texture. The nose is green tinged with wool and lemon popsicle notes. Acidity on the palate is laser sharp and it feels as thought there's a touch of residual sugar to balance things out. All, however, feels somewhat forced. Christina Pickard
