D'Arenberg 2018 The Stump Jump Sauvignon Blanc (Adelaide)

This opens reductively, seemingly blanketed in sulfur. Somewhat underripe lime and tangerine notes are backed by welcome honeyed nuances and more grassy tones. Acidity on the palate is prickly and searing. There's some bright fruit and textural weight, especially as it warms in the glass, but it's hard to get past all that cheek-biting acidity.
