Dashwood 2018 Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough)

This is a perfumed and regionally typical Sauvignon that charges out of the gates, with aromas of flowers, snow peas, citrus and tropical fruit, jalapeño peppers and grass. Tingly, piercing acidity is the most noticeable aspect of the palate, and there's perhaps a touch of residual sugar there too, to balance all that acidity and give a sensation of fruit weight.
