David Hill 2005 Chardonnay (Willamette Valley)

This inexpensive bottling offers up round, soft, pleasant fruit flavors with a tilt toward papaya and banana. It was aged in mostly neutral oak, and it has some musty bitterness at the very end. But in this price range, for those who simply want a glass of ripe fruit, it works just fine. Drink it cold. Paul Gregutt
