Day 2016 Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

This biodynamic vineyard is a favorite among dozens of clients. A solid effort, this is built upon ripe plum, blueberry and tart marionberry fruit. One-quarter was fermented with whole clusters, native yeasts were used, and just 15% new French oak keeps the gentle caramel flavors in the background. This should be enjoyed through the mid-2020s.
