A rosé made with Malbec, Tannat and Cabernet Franc is not something you find every day in Oregon. Which is unfortunate if they are all as good as the Babycheeks. It has nectarine, quince and shortbread aromas, along with quick bursts of wet rocks, Thai basil, wet rocks and strawberry margaritas. Well-structured with zippy acidity and flavors such as strawberry lemonade, tangerines and a rhubarb tart. The Babycheeks is fun personified. Michael Alberty
