De Bortoli 2002 Pinot Noir (Yarra Valley)

Medium-lean in body, with a spicy-herb nose that also has medicinal, red-catsup hints. Tastes like a mix of fruits—plum and cranberry, surely, but also apple and even apricot. Taut cranberry flavors wind up the finish, where there's also chocolate, and some tea-like tannins.
