De Fermo 2016 Launegild Chardonnay (Colline Pescaresi)

Sourced from a vineyard that was planted in the 1930s, this Chardonnay is well concentrated on the nose in aromas of lemon oil and almond skin. The ample palate shows a progression of flavors, starting with bright citrus that broadens out to juicy yellow apple and melon on the midpalate. Lemongrass and thyme linger on the close.
