A great vintage in Mendocino and a great vineyard, Masut, but lovers of subtle Pinot will be disappointed with this big-bodied, in no ways shy wine (15.5% alcohol), its positive attributes being great texture and dark cherry, cinnamon and almost baked rhubarb pie aromas and flavors.
