Delamain Reserve de la Famille Grande Champagne Cognac

The first nosing passes find subtle but firm scents of pepper, spirit and wood; following aeration traces of grapes, paraffin and spice are added. The palate entry is honey sweet and woody with a touch of bacon fat; midpalate offers delightful semisweet tastes of marzipan, English toffee and egg cream. Finishes as elegantly as it began. P.P.
