Delamotte NV Brut (Champagne)

A bouquet of baked apples, pear and burnt brown sugar kicks it off. Next comes a soft palate of pineapple, papaya and lemon, and then a finish of apples and white pepper. Lovely flavors and plenty of depth push it forward. However, the bead is so light that the wine goes flat in the glass. Michael Schachner
