Delas Frères 2003 Saint-Esprit White (Côtes du Rhône)

A bit cloudy in appearance, this richly textured, plump wine boasts rich aromas of ripe pears and dried spices alongside notes of lemon curd. Custardy on the palate, folding in hints of pear, citrus and minerals. The only quibble is that it finishes a little short. Drink now. Joe Czerwinski
