Delas Frères 2007 Seigneur de Maugiron (Côte Rôtie)

Quite an oaky specimen; the nose is full of mocha, vanilla, cedar, rubber and spice. Shows prickly acidity on an intense palate as well as flavors of tart berry and cherry. "Slightly sour and clamped" were the words of one reviewer; others found it more generous and typical of Côte Rôtie.
