Whispers of smoke, bacon and violet lend complexity to ripe black plum and mulberry on this inviting Syrah. Its perfume and lavishly concentrated palate offer a bit more intensity than typically seen in Crozes-Hermitage. This briskly balanced, elegant wine with firm tannins is approachable now but should drink well through 2030.
