Delfino 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Umpqua Valley)

This is tannic, astringent and dark. The tannins dominate and somewhat mute the black cherry fruit. On the plus side, it's toasty and loaded with a broad streak of espresso that carries on through the finish. With a juicy burger or grilled steak it could be just about perfect. Paul Gregutt
