Round and tight, like Tannat is known to be, with burly black-fruit aromas and flavors. There's detectable cassis and raisin notes prior to a spicy, tannic finish that deals licorice and coffee. Pretty heavy, full-bodied stuff for sure, but a decent rendition of Tannat. Very much worth a go.
