Deschutes Black Butte XXXII Imperial Porter

Initial sips reveal a lot to unpack. This is an imperial porter aged in rum barrels, with additions of orange peel, coffee, vanilla and nutmeg. It's a limited release from the brewery that, when fresh, is full of spice and booze notes. A few years of rest in the cellar will likely reveal some nuance and let the dominant flavors mature.
