Deutz is one of the great names of Champagne, and this vintage Brut from an excellent, ripe year, delivers rich, round, toasty flavors, buoyed by cascading fountains of fine, tiny bubbles. There is a precisely tuned balance to the wine, which shows off its full fruit without sacrificing its typical elegance and crisp authority. A pleasing toastiness, and a faint hint of honey completes the experience.
