A Blanc de Blancs, from 100% Chardonnay, Deutz's top cuvée in its elegant long-necked bottle has been given enough bottle age from the vintage to bring out a whole raft of complex flavors that are structured finely but are also allowed to express their weight. There are almonds and quince, a texture that is rigorous, but also elegant.
