Year in and year out, Deutz manages to put out a fine, eminently drinkable nonvintage brut. This one projects vanilla, pear and coconut via the bouquet, and apple, pear and cinnamon through the palate. With lively citrus afternotes, it finishes tight and sure. The acidity is appley and moves everything along. Michael Schachner
