Devison 2018 Boushey Vineyard Rosé (Yakima Valley)

Editors' Choice

This is the inaugural release from long-time Washington winemaker Peter Devison. Mostly Mourvèdre at 77% with the rest Grenache, it's so pale in color it could be a white wine. There's a strong mineral sense that enchants. Aromas of pink grapefruit, whole watermelon, strawberry and lemon rind lead to sleek, well-balanced, acid-driven flavors. It brings a sense of balance and seriousness. Sean P. Sullivan
